My Calligraphy journey
I am an architect turned freelance artist, calligrapher, illustrator and graphic designer, born in India, currently living life in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. (which is also where I grew up).
I ventured into Calligraphy in 2016, and it has been my passion ever since. I have also dabbled in several other mediums such as acrylics, watercolours, gouache and digital art and branding, and I enjoy working with all of them just as much.
I have taught a couple in-person workshops in Riyadh (At Candles & Chalk studio, and was attended by Janelle of The Pink Tarha) and currently also conducted many online classes via Zoom and Google meet as well.
I recently participated in my very first art exhibition in Riyadh, in January 2021, with Mawhub Art Gallery, with Cecilia Pitre in Al-Khobar, and several others since. I also had the opportunity to work as the on-site Calligrapher for Hugo Boss at the FIA Formula E World Championship in Diriyah, did Card & Envelope Calligraphy for an event by Dior & Marieclaire and worked as the on-site Engraver for Azalea at O100 Perfumes, Riyadh.
